Artist
Brian Beyke is an American instrumental ambient solo guitarist, who began writing in Louisville, Kentucky in 2006. Brian relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio in 2004 for college and while on summer break started writing his first electric, looping style songs he's come to be known for. Brian quickly gained recognition for his live show where it was shown he could perform all the songs layered with multiple guitar and percussion tracks with out accompaniment. Brian's trademark was his pedalboard which consisted of many loopers and guitar effect pedals that helped him shape his atmospheric and soundtrack-esque sound. He was most known on the internet through many musicians forums for his large, and neatly organized pedalboard which got him and his music international attention. In Spring 2008 Brian traveled to many locations in Brazil playing guitar with his school's concert choir, and had his first chance to share his music in person internationally. Three years of playing his solo electric guitar style and Brian had never put out any recordings. He made scratch demos in his room which made their way to the social networks such as virb, purevolume, and myspace. Two "release" were titled, but never released. In Winter of 2008 Brian finally went into the studio in Charleston, Illinois to record 18 tracks. Among those songs would include those two previous "releases"; "Four Seasons" and "Somewhere Between Space & Time." "Somewhere..." is Brian's first three full songs written
