Several different artists have recorded as Bria. 1. Bria was the first solo moniker used by Canadian musician Bria Salmena from Toronto. She was the lead singer of post-punk revivalists Frigs, then went solo. Her earliest solo releases were cover versions of country songs: two EPs (2021 and 2023), to be precise. Both were formally credited to Bria. From 2023 onwards, however, Salmena started releasing original material under her full name, Bria Salmena. 2. Bria is American-born, Ukraine-based singer-songwriter Bria Blessing, who writes her own songs, sings them herself and is also active in a jazz combo named the Bria Blessing Quartet.
