Artist
Brett Anderson (born 29 September 1967 in Lindfield, Sussex, United Kingdom) is an English singer-songwriter best known as front man of British rock band, Suede (1989-2002 and 2010-present). He also fronted The Tears with ex-Suede guitarist, Bernard Butler, although as of 2006 they are on hiatus. So far Anderson has released four solo albums. The eponymous Brett Anderson came out in 2007, as Suede were on hiatus. 2008 brought the quieter, piano-driven Wilderness. Slow Attack was released in 2009, completing a trilogy of solo albums in three years' time. By the time the solo triptych was completed, Suede had reformed for gigs. Anderson released one more solo album after Suede's reformation: Black Rainbows (2011), before the band started writing and recording new material. The band's reformation for live performances turned out to be a fully fledged return, yielding five studio albums since 2013's Bloodsports. It also marked the end - at least for now - of Brett Anderson's solo recording career. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
