about

“Body of Land” is the latest album from Looking Glass Wars, guitarist and songwriter Brendan Rivera. Featuring 15 tracks that vary from the driving full band intro of "Miles" to the stripped down, acoustic guitar and vocals on "Faux Plastique." Although the album spans a wide range of genres each song flows into the next seamlessly creating a skillful continuity throughout. Brendan Rivera had the honor to be named one of AbsolutePunk.net’s absolute 100 bands in 2009 in the exclusive feature earlier this year. “Body of Land” touches on material similar to the sound of Looking Glass Wars and Brendan's previous album "The Musician" but also combines many new elements that are unique to this release. During a Canadian fall tour with Silverstein in September, Shane Told (Silverstein) released the album in Canada on his personal record label Verona Records. The album is now available on iTunes, Amazon.com and is being released in the U.S. by Veggie Co. Records on November 24th, 2009. http://www.itunes.com/brendanrivera User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
