Hailing from the eastern part of The Netherlands comes a band that you would expect from the western and sunny side of California. The band started in 2006 and not long after, they recorded a demo which put them on the map in Holland. With ex and current members of Beans, Citizens Patrol and Frightening Fiction they have a wide variety of musicians in the band and that’s something you distinctly hear in their sound. Influences vary from the melodic sounds of NoFX, Bad Religion and SNFU, but with a harder edge than any of these bands using influences from hardcore bands such as RKL, Stalag 13, 7 Seconds en old New York and DC hardcore bands like Minor Threat and Urban Waste. Not long after was later re-releasing their demo on 7inch vinyl, they started to record a full-length album with Menno Bakker. This became the “Hate The Neighbours”, which was very well received by critics and fans. After releasing their debut album, Brat Pack switched guitar player Willem – who was busy with Antillectual – for Jeroen. In this new line-up they have since played all over Europe, including two tours of Western Europe, a tour of the Balkan states, a UK tour and many weekend trips to Germany, Belgium, France, Czech Republic and Denmark. Now, three years after releasing “Hate The Neighbours”, Brat Pack is ready to unleash their second full-length: “Stupidity Returns”.
