The Brass Buttons hailed fron Rochester,New York, and were friends of the Rascals guitarist Gene Cornish.Born in Ottawa,Cornish later moved to Rochester with his mother,who was a respected big-band vocalist.After stints with such groups as The Unbeatables and Joey Dee & The Starliters,Cornish formed The Young Rascals with Felix Cavaliere,Dino Danelli and Brigati in 1965.By 1968 the band-by then known as The Rascals-had formed their own production company,called Peace.Cornish cut at least two sides with The Brass Buttons for Peace during October 1968."Hell will take care of her" was eventually issued on Atco subsidiary Cotillion,but no further releases known from this group. -Andrew Sandoval User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
