about

Dreams. They give you hope. They take you to worlds unknown…but have you ever had a dream that took you too far? To a point where you don’t recognize yourself anymore? With his new album ‘Kiss The Stars’, on Milled Pavement, Brandon Miles takes you on a journey through a series of images, ideas, emotions and sensations, far beyond reality. His soft, gentle voice carries you above the rough undertow of sound, that is driven by his dark and menacing production. While already having several international releases on Gain recordings, TD Productions, Pauze recordings and more; 'Kiss The Stars' brings Miles' vocals to the aural forefront. Sounding like a cross between The Postal Service and The Prodigy, Brandon Miles brings forth a brand of electronic music that doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth. Releasing his first record in 2005 on New York's Big-H recordings, Brandon has been writing and playing shows non-stop. Dubbed "Electronic Einstein" by the Portland Phoenix, Brandon has accumulated over 15 releases and publications, all while touring the US. With the support of his sponsor Sustainabilitee, an eco-friendly clothing line, Brandon utilizes public transportation while traveling on tour, in an effort to reduce his share of carbon emissions. On his 2007 tour, Brandon made an appearance at the Boston AID's Walk where he performed several songs off "The Mourning Flesh E.P." for the 5,000+ in attendance. That same year he won an award for Best DnB/IDM Artist at the WPB award
