about

Brain Püker is a skate punk band from Trois-Rivières, Québec and they're considered the first punk rock band overall from Quebec. The band was formed in 1993 by Greg Alone (guitars, lead vocals), Matthieu Beaumont (bass, vocals), Frederick Bujold (drums) and Mark (guitars, vocals). They became a trio after they lost their second guitarist Mark (last name not known). The loss of Mark occurred after the recording of We All Archit. He was never replaced. Alone, Beaumont and Bujold continued as a trio. Brain Püker were the most active skate punk band in Quebec and played several shows in that province. They have been to the studio several times. They disbanded in 2001, but then they came back at an unknown point in time. They released an EP entitled Relationshit in 2022. The status of Brain Püker is unknown. It is unclear if they are still active or if they disbanded after the release of that EP. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
