Braden the Young is a multi-genre artist based in Portland, OR. His music employs a blend of indie rock, RnB and modern pop. An independent artist working primarily out of his home studio, Braden not only writes, produces and sings on his own songs, but he also plays a variety of instruments. This includes trumpet, mandolin, guitar, drums, and piano. Stylistically, Braden is most inspired by music from his upbringing in the Midwest, listening to records from the likes of Beck, Paul Simon and E.L.O. However, his music firmly lives in the 21st century, with its danceability and experimentation. Fans of crossover artists like Jon Bellion and John K will find themselves at home in Braden’s world. Braden has cultivated a small, but passionate following. You’re likely to have heard his music across TV Shows (including on CBS, FOX and MTV) and in major advertisements. He is also the co-founder of Middleborn, an independent alt-pop record label based in the Pacific Northwest. In the rare moments he is not creating music, Braden is an avid gamer and baseball fan.
