Bozena Griner was born in Mostar, former Yugoslavia, today Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her talent and brilliant virtuosity was spotted by a legendary Russian pedagogue Heinrich Neuhaus (both Sviatoslav Richter and Emil Gilels were his pupils) ,with whom she was mastering her craft as his student in Moscow Conservatoire from 1961 to 1964, where she gained her Master`s Degree. At present she is actively teaching.
