Boys With Xray Eyes started out in late 2006 as a quintet, who all had something different to bring to the table. Just listening to the demo can show the range of styles within the music. From heavy, blood thirsty riffs to the lighter, melodic harmonising choruses. Using this to our advantage, we soon became a band that we could all enjoy, finding our own style and genre in every note and beat we played. The tearing riffs, hard hitting drums and intense vocals grabbed people’s attention immediately from playing a few local shows. This led us to a review in NP life magazine and being featured in Metal Hammer magazine’s ‘upcoming’ section. It was late 2007 when we recorded our first demo album which consists of 11 tracks. The main purpose of this demo was for us to find our sound and see where we wanted to go as a band. Through 2008 we spent a lot of time playing shows across the U.K trying to establish a solid reputation. We played the welsh leg of Johnny Truant’s ‘No Tears For The Creatures’ tour which was reviewed in Kerrang’s ‘live’ section in July 08. We have also had the pleasure of sharing a stage with: Skindred, The Architects, Fall of troy, Blessed By A Broken Heart, Azriel, The Hurt process , See You Next Tuesday, Glamour Of The Kill, Shaped By Fate, The Ghost Frequency, The Future, Scars Of Tomorrow, Misery Signals, Johnny Truant, Flood Of Red and many more...
