Formerly Moon Unit, the band are now called BOY OF GIRL http://www.myspace.com/boyofgirl http://www.facebook.com/pages/boy-of-girl/123336973080?ref=ts Rosie Blair and Paul Mogg discovered each other in art-school London, and soon became musical siblings sharing songs and ideas like candy and secrets. In invincible little rooms with tangles of wires on the floor, connected by invisible heartstrings, they coaxed BOY OF GIRL tenderly into life. They gave up London with its scenes and neon and went into hiding in Berlin, where they worked on creating soundscapes to escape by. For a year or two they nurtured their solitude – but in the maelstrom of Berlin, they were constructing a language and finding the right way to speak it out loud. Now they play and record wherever they find themselves, London or New York or Belfast or Paris, following the thread of their woozy/acute, sweet/sour music wherever it takes them.
