In late 2006 JV joined forces with Toby Shain and Leo Townsend to create 'Boxquest' The band has just recently held their EP launch to over 200 people at Candy’s Apartment, and are looking to get their name out and around by performing a string of shows in the coming months. Boxquest's style is a cross between Death Cab for Cutie and Dashboard Confessional, with a hint of John Mayer and Ryan Adams. The bands sound is fresh rock built on strong songwriting and musicianship, with a rapidly expanding following.
