Borrowed Men was an alternative band in the early 1990s from Los Angeles, CA. Lacking any real promotional support, they could be heard occasionally on college radio stations at the time. Their most well-known song, She's Lost Control, was a Joy Division cover. They had two releases, the 1990 studio album Media Whores Must Die, and the 1991 EP No Hail Mary's, both including the song "Curious". The two band members were Oscar Holguin and Drew Haney. The band was signed to the label Fiction O.D. during their entire career. David Podosek (The Echo Forest) played bass on the bands only North American Tour which began the first day of Gulf War (August 2, 1990) in Iraq.
