Born without a face were from Grand Rapids, Michigan and were a rather mysterious band. They released an 18 song cassette before releasing 2 7’s then disappearing. The unbecoming ep was the first released and saw them playing a handful of live shows in their hometown and two hours east in Detroit. They released another 7″ in 1987 called “worship” (also excellent)and were never heard from again. Years later, BW/OAF guitar player Mark Dancey showed up in BIG CHIEF. Big chief was Barry(the luv troll)Hensslers post NECROS grunge/funk band. Dancey is also quite the artist, painting album covers for SOUNDGARDEN, and shiny rock/rap mags like spin,raygun and vibe. Anyway, this 7″ is a lifetime away from all that crap . All their material (if you can find it) rules!!
