Boredom Swells are self-proclaimed, "pun rock" [SIC]. Stemming from small town West Virginia, Taking theory from Shane Lanham (Vicious Grim, Hellbent Glory, Fatal Connection), The progressive bass prowess of Derek Nuzum (Big Bang Theory, Generation Landfill), and lyrical prose of songwriter Matt Fincham (Fatal Connection, Big Bang Theory, Bleeding Into Life), Boredom Swells combines technicality through proverbs, puns, and paraprosdokians, with extended scales and theory. Music is released on the band's own 'Mouse Productions'. The band is awaiting to release an LP. Their songs have been covered, and featured on various compilations.
