Booshle G. is a singer/songwriter from Uitenhage/ Kariega, a small town on the out-skirts of Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, South Africa. As a young man living his school-boy dream, his music centres around finding identity, learning to be present in every moment and navigating the challenges of this world when the odds are against you. Being untaught, his raw and uncurrated sound is a product of a heterogenous fushion of music and experiences. From starting out as a hip-hop artist and cheating his way in his high-school choir, to being a youth pastor and worship leader in his early 20s, his music speaks to where people are and lifts them up with upbeats expressions sounds and concepts. His music draws insiration from a variety of artists, including Matthew Mole, Tai Verdes, Anees, Dominic Fike, Will Linley, Samm Henshaw & Surfaces, just to name a few.
