With a pedigree that includes several band members from the glorious Piva dal Carner, BEV represents a continuation of an idiomatic folk music tradition that articulates a Northeast Italian way of portraying the world in music and song. Just as cooking with Genoese basil produces different results from cooking with Thai sweet basil or Indian tulsi, BEV's music uses local Northeast Italian ingredients to create something that is profoundly, distinctly, stylishly Northeast Italian.
