Bone Sauce is an independent rock band based in Chicago, Brooklyn and Manhattan. The band's latest release, Chooklyn, was first leaked on the official web site late 2008 and has been called their best to date. It presents a mix of sophisticated songwriting, insightful lyrics and emotionally charged rock music. Chooklyn showcases a broad range of styles from the upbeat energy of the guitar-driven "Dots Makes Lines / Line Make Sounds" to the moody undertones of "People People What Do You Want" and the soulful sensibility of "Where Do Records Go When They Die." The bands complete discography can be streamed at their official website, http://bonesauce.com Bone Sauce was originally formed in State College, PA in 1991. The original lineup consisted of guitarist/songwriter Bram Roach, singer/lyricist Steve Goss, songwriter/bassist Steve Justice and drummer Pat Quinn. Quinn left in 1994, and the band soon broke up. They reformed in 2004 with a more refined approach to songwriting and production and have since released three full-length albums and two EPs on the buckystarlark music label.
