Bone Awl is a black metal band from Novato, USA that formed in 2002. It consists of two members, He Who Crushes Teeth and He Who Gnashes Teeth (named after the Norse god Thor's goats that pulled his chariot). Both members previously played in the grind/thrash band Belador who released two demos and a split with American sludge band Sloth. As Bone Awl they have released around nine demos, several EPs, splits and singles and a full-length record titled "Meaningless Leaning Mess". The band has released primarily through their own label Klaxon productions and American underground metal label Nuclear War Now!.
