Artist
There are two artists under this name: 1) Bohdi was the kid in your high school study hall listening to Skrillex on full blast while doing his math homework. He’s been DJing for the past 4 years, 2 of those with X’s on his hands. He pulled from his love of dance music, and its energy, combining them with heart-on-the-sleeve honest lyrics. His songs are a mix of electronic and hip-hop, of fist pumping and voice quivering. Bohdi is laying it all on the line, holding nothing back, and asking you to do the same. In May of 2017, Bohdi released his debut, self-titled album “Bohdi” along with two singles, “Head in the Clouds” and “Home.” All are available on Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud. bohdibohdi.com soundcloud.com/bohdibohdi facebook.com/bohdimusic instagram.com/bohdibohdi twitter.com/bohdimusic 2) The musicians who have comprised the group BOHDI are Joe Taylor, Mitch Luman, Brad Emrich, John Sheverbush, Jeremy Boyd, Drew Noble, Todd, Stan, Joe Leiter, Dann Flaherty, Mike Spilman, Steve Ball & Walt. BOHDI began creating music in Pittsburg, Kansas in 1990. The group rarely played live, but instead focused on four-track recordings of compositions and group improvisations. Early unreleased cassettes include "My Dixie Wrecked" "Pissed in a Bowl, Sung from a Hole" "Wake Up and Smell the Coffee" and "Brother Chuck!" BOHDI played only two live concerts in Kansas, both in 1993: one at the McCray Music Hall at Pittsburg State University and one in Todd's parent's garage
