Bog Sirens is a two-piece improv metal band formed in Olympia, Washington in 2016 by Natasha Lyn-Marie Excelsia (guitar, vocals) and Miranda Rae Lunabel (drums). The band blends various types of extreme metal with free jazz-styled improvisation, and a lo-fi DIY production style, to create a uniquely aggressive and noisy sound. They were formerly known as Antriarcha, but changed the name in 2017 due to the previous name being too similar to another band, Antriarch. They entered an indefinite hiatus in 2022 with Miranda moving back to Texas. In 2024, Natasha formed Vitality Ritual, a band with a similar fusion of genres and inspirations, with her now playing primarily the drums.
