Bodebrixen is a danish band formed in Aarhus, DK in 2006. The band consists of Aske Bode and Andreas Brixen, who met at a summer school. Afterwards they started to play instrumental gigs, but the music developed, and on their first demo Andreas started to sing. Now the band plays happy indiepop songs with a large range of instruments from saxophones and recorders to banjos and old synthezisers. When they play live they are joined by a 9-member backing band. Their debut album, is to be released on the danish indie label, Good Tape Records, in september 2008.
