Bobby Norris was born in East Tennessee on October 23, 1932. He passed away on February 5, 2003. He taught himself to play the guitar in the hills of Tennessee and joined the Navy to see the world. While stationed in San Diego, he followed friends up to Culver City to eat pizza at Louis and Rafaela Alfano's Italian restaurant, the Villa Italian. There he met his wife Norma Alfano whom he married on December 3, 1955. Their only son, Rick was born in 1957. Bobby pursued his recording career as a rockabilly singer landing a contract with Capital Records. His songs like "I went Rockin'" and "Party Time" are played on at last 9 major rockabilly albums.
