Artist
Jamaican-born Bobby Johnson emigrated to London, United Kingdom, in the early 1960s before assembling his own R&B band, The Atoms. Their début single as Bobby Johnson & The Atoms in May 1967 was the much-covered 'Do It Again A Little Bit Slower' b/w 'Tramp'. In the same year Johnson and The Atoms also released a version of 'Whiter Shade of Pale', shortly after it had been a smash hit for Procol Harum.
