It's been said that Virginia is the birthplace of soul and Bobby Blunt a.k.a. Bernard Eure is a pure representative of that. The singer, songwriter, producer and emcee hailing from Norfolk, Virginia is what many say is the next up to carry the torch for VA's soul survivors. What started within the walls of a small southern Baptist church on the corner of Victoria Avenue, now blossoms where possibilities are endless. As a child, Bobby would sing in front of crowds at talent shows and various functions with fearlessness only few have. As a young man he began writing poetry and became a published author in two anthologies. Those various poems would turn into his first songs on his first self produced album “Starving Artistry”. From there it was all about sharpening his skill as a singer, producer, and emcee. It was in this phase where he met fellow producers and close friends DJ Vex and Steve Cife. They began to make music together and the rest as they say is history. Still a best kept secret, Bobby continues to work with his camp of producers. He is also one half of the respective groups Aries Connection and Huey Neutron. He has released several projects including „Petey‟s Soapbox‟, an ode to Ralph Waldo Green, The Soupbowl Sessions Volumes 1- 3, a collection of mixtapes which show his skill as a producers as well as a vocalist, and „A Traveler‟s Notebook‟, his recent EP with Australian producer Ta-Ku. He has also shared the stage with an eclectic group of artists such as J*D
