Bobb Trimble's Flying Spiders (aka The Flying Spiders) became the live vehicle for Bobb Trimble's music in the spring of 2008. Beginning as a joint project ("The Prefab Messiahs with Bobb Trimble") for the Wormtown 30th Anniversary Bash in Worcester MA, the group performed under their current name for the first time at the Somerville MA stop of the "No More Bush Tour" (curated by Byron Coley, and presented by Ecstatic Peace and Arthur Magazine) in the summer of 2008. Aside from Trimble, the band usually includes Nick Branigan, Karina Dacosta, Paul Sentz, and Kris Thompson. Former members include Joe Mahoney and Gary War.
