Bob Siller was born in San Bernardino California. He graduated from Redlands High School and went on to study at a local college where, while singing in a folk trio, he was fortunate enough to play a few of his songs for some "kid" from Oklahoma who was working at a recording studio in LA. The "kid" who liked what he heard turned out to be Jimmy Webb and his song"Up Up and Away" by The Fifth Dimension got him six Grammy's that year. Jimmy signed Bob Siller to his Canopy music publishing company and oversaw his signing to ABC Dunhill and Bob's first album " This Is Siller's Picture" some cuts, particularly " In This Tiny Lonesome Little Place" are still being played in radio stations throughout the world. The musicians were Hal Blaine on drums, Joe Osborn on bass, Mike Daisy on guitar and Larry Knechtel on keyboards...the same musicians who played on all The Mamas and Papas hits and so many other hit records. Bob was also fortunate enough to have worked with Fred Tackett (who would later become a member of Little Feat) on an album for Warmer Bros. For Bob Siller the road has been fascinating and exciting. Continuing on as a staff writer for RCA's Sunbury Dunbar he co wrote the hit single "Powder Blue Mercedes Queen" recorded and co-written with Mark Lindsey of Paul Revere and The Raiders. While writing for RCA, he met Larry Carlton who recorded his song " Waving and Smiling". Lee Ritenoir, Wilton Felder, Ed Green, Paul Horn, Jimmy Haskell, Bob Stone("Gypsies Tramps and Thiev
