Bob Copper (born Robert James Copper in Rottingdean, Sussex on 6 January 1915; died Brighton, East Sussex, 29 March 2004) was a renowned English folk-singer, folklorist and writer. Widely recognised as one of England's most important traditional folk-singers of his era, he was a leading member of The Copper Family, a dynasty of folk singers that proved pivotal in the development of the English Folk Song Society (EFSS).
