Bob Bryar (born Robert Cory Bryar) was born on 31 December 1979 in Chicago, Illnois. He went to school at Eisenhower Junior High in Darien, Illnois where he played the drums in symphonic and jazz bands. After, he went to Downers Grove South high school. He later went to university at Gainesville, Florida and has also worked at Disneyland. He became friends with members of My Chemical Romance whilst working as an engineer for The Used. Bryar had a near death experience during the filming of the video for 'Famous Last Words', when he received third degree burns on his leg and developed a gangrene infection from his burns, which if not treated would have killed him. He has played the drums since he was four years old. He loves cats and zebras and Mr. Bean the animated series.
