Bob Boardman (b. 1988) began playing music at the age of 15 in Chesterfield, UK. He attended the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in 2006 with fellow band mate Adam Bradshaw and from there launched into the music scene, from the hub of the folk revival 'The Royal Oak' pub. They began gigging regularly with Stuart Ackroyd-guitarist virtuoso, as 'The arROws' and were highly acclaimed, receiving 4 out of 5 Star reviews and airplay on The Garden Sessions internet radio station and Leith Fm. The band were both the no. 1 and no. 3 'most downloaded track' for almost 5 months. Bob then embarked to the Far East, taking his music to Japan, where he wrote most of the material for his debut album. Bob has played a variety of venues in the UK as well as various venues in Belgium, Japan and New Zealand and will be adding California to his list very soon. Bob is a musician with traditional folk roots mixing his music with electronic sounds. The music features an exciting yet mellow blend of mandolin and synthesizer, deep lyrics and meaningful melodies. Each song is a self-penned story about a journey.
