BLUTIGER FLUSS are Jeff Hutchison and Jim Duede, both on keyboards, synths and effects Formed in Des Moines, Iowa in 2008, BLUTIGER FLUSS set out to create Ambient/Space Music recalling early 1970’s works by Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream. This influence is strongly evident on their first album, "Dawn of Mars", released in Dec. 2008. They have also released an iTunes-exclusive EP named "Extrema" in Sept. 2009. December 2009 saw the release of Blutiger Fluss' 2nd full length album, "Moons Of Jupiter". Now available on itunes and available soon on physical CDs as well. Live shows draw a growing legion of fans to witness BLUTIGER FLUSS on stage with lighting and effects that mirror the sonic experience. “…the only thing Hutchison and Duede have truly copied is the spirit of that period of time in electronic music; the music itself is to my ears quite fresh and original …It sounds like some new, undiscovered gem of a band from that time period has recently been unearthed.” -Phil Derby, www.electroambientspace.com “Dawn of Mars wanders in the old school analogue synthesizer ambient, presenting an amalgam of atmospheric explorations and out worldly progression that often results abstract but colorful enough to bring some brilliancy and inspiring daydream like states.” -www.heathenharvest.com User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
