Blurain is a little known solo synth-rock and alternative-rock artist from Alaska. He is most known for his YouTube channel of the same name, where he makes content ranging from gaming, music, and animation. Blurain's channel was created on February 17, 2015. Blurain began work on his debut album What Life Really Means in the fall of 2019 ,releasing all tracks one by one as singles on YouTube and Soundcloud until the whole album was released. The album featured an eclectic blend of alternative rock, alternative-pop, and other genres, taking inspiration from bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, and Green Day. The album was praised by fans of Blurain's channel, and tracks like "Alaskan", "She's the Lucky One", "And So...", and "Brand New Millennium" reached over 300 plays on Soundcloud and boasted just as many views on YouTube as well. What Life Really Means received a deluxe edition soon after release, and was dedicated to semi-popular YouTube animator, Ava G, a person Blurain personally thanks for inspiration and motivation via her animated content.
