BlueWorks is a one person music project that concerns political, social or other manifestations about urban LGBT life... “Blue Works” is a number of songs originally kicked off in 2004 in a genre that mixes electro, dark disco and italo-disco with direct influences from Fischerspooner and Ladytron to Pet Shop Boys and Suede along with references to Queer Theory, Michel Foucault, Jean Baudrillard, porn industry, queer studies and more. Based upon keywords like "Sex Politics", "Gender", "Social Repression", "Media outcast" and under a comprehensive title like "Songs Of Overrated Intimacy" - BlueWorks has been the only music project in Greece with clear references to LGBT matters and the LGBT way of thinking or/and living. They are “works dressed in blue”, whatever you may suspect this means and they can be found along with BlueWorks' chronicles at http://mrblueworks.blogspot.com.
