The band - a heavyweight in the Swiss blues scene The brass section (trombone, saxophone and trumpet) gives their music the rich, powerful sound of a larger formation, without the arrangements losing the freshness and intimacy of a blues band. The repertoire is versatile and includes blues classics as well as dialect blues, songs close to the gospel, or carefree songs, French style by Henri Salvador. With more than 300 gigs and an impressive discography, the band is a heavyweight in the Swiss blues scene. In the current formation, the band has been playing since 2005. At its core, the band has been on the road for a long time. It emerged in 1993 from the two Aargau formations Bluescompany (Benno Riss, Zobi Zobrist and guest musician Haemu Pluess) and hail storm Blues Band (Paeuli Hofer, Meck Keller and Haemu Pluess). Since then, the band has played successfully at more than 300 gigs at home and abroad.
