Blue Lush’s story begins in 2019, when musicians Matt McKeon, Katherine Aybar, and Tina Miller met through Molloy College’s Music Therapy Program. The three bonded together over a mutual passion for music and healing, seeking to combine their talents to share with the world. Two years later, bassist Polly Frances and Drummer Alex DiGiovanna joined the group. The band has been praised for their unique take on rock music, fusing genres such as R&B, progressive, jazz, and more. Ultimately, the collective prides themselves on emphasizing the value of music as follows: a means to heal, persevere, and connect more deeply with Other others.
