Hardcore Punk band from, NEW BRITAIN, CONNECTICUT United States Hailing from Connecticut and Massachusetts, the Bloodshot Hooligans blend a mix of old school hardcore and west coast punk rock which creates a sound that is unique to the music scene around the area. The band puts an emphasis on a fun energetic live show which unites the punks, skins, hardcore kids, which only a handful of bands can successfully do. The Bloodshot Hooligans were formed in the fall of 1999, which featured Tim Hannon-drums, Josh Hannon-vocals, Brian Hannon-Guitar, and John Ross-Bass. Playing shows all throughout the area they started having a growing fan base and put out a demo which was recorded by Bill Chamberlain (the Pist) and Pete Fratta (React) at Studio X in Torrington, CT. The demo also featured Aaron Knuckles from Death Threat and it was just a taste of what was to come from the Hooligans. The band also welcomed a second guitarist, Max Zeigler who completed the sound in which they were going for. In August of 2000, The band went to Planet Z Studios in South Hadley, MA (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, 100 Demons) and recorded 9 songs which is now there self titled debut CD released on Asbestos Records. The band also released a limited edition 7 on Shout It! Records. Which sold out quickly. The band is also featured on a DRI tribute compilation We Dont Need Society and has been on numerous other comps.
