BLOOD BY DAYZ (founded in 2003) combine straight metalcore with beatdown and NYHC-flavoured parts, angry shouts and a high amount of Rap vocals. We don’t cage ourselves in the Beatdown genre or try to be a part of that current movement within the scene. It’s just some bastard between heavy breakdowns and Metal-harmonics mixed up with straight riffing and uptempo-shit. Different facets of straight metal and hardcore punk music all bred into one. Fuck stereotypes. Fuck standards. "Blood By Dayz" existieren seit Ende 2003 und spielen straighten aggressiven metalcore. Musikalisch ist das Ganze im Endeffekt eine Mixtur aus NYHC, mosh-orientierten Hatebreed, sowie wechselnd Shouts und Rap-Parts mit nem Hauch Melodie. Musikalische Einflüsse reichen vom 80er Jahre New York Style bis zu aktuellerem metalcore wie Sworn Enemy oder Throwdown, allerdings ohne großen Metal-Einschlag. Die Texte spiegeln eigene Erfahrungen und persönliche Ansichten wieder und handeln vom alltäglichen Leben; ganz ohne tiefgreifende Politik-Statements, fiktive Stories oder pseudomoralische Botschaften. Seit Mitte 2004 spielen wir live und haben im Raum Siegen/Westerwald schon ne Menge Shows mit Bands wie Embraced By Hatred, End Of Days, A Case Of Grenada und Dead for 7 Weeks gespielt.
