Blistering Tongues first gig was at the Kakanui Hall , just south of Oamaru , New Zealand in December 1995. Since then there have been several members come and go. The current line-up is... Glenn Bathgate - Lead Vocals and Guitar. Nabby Mcnahb - Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals. Ham Henderson - Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals. Stuart Young - Drums. The BT`s have recorded 1 studio album , 1 `Live` album and an EP. As well as countless gigs around New Zealand. Their "sound" is (putting it basically) Filthy heavy rock/punk with pangs of country and comedy. They have no plans to ever disband and are ready to hit the South Island of NZ with a tour in July , closely followed by recording their 2nd Studio album in Wellington.
