Blended and Bottled is a female-fronted rockband from Alkmaar and is founded in 2006. Blended and Bottled is: Wieteke Wijte - Vocals Maartje Borst - Electric and Acoustic Basses Maarten Tamminga - Drums Karel Witte - Guitars and Keyboards The band describes it's music as follows: Ultra Dynamic Rock with soulful vocals, funky basses, heavy and delicate guitars, and groovy drums. Also jazz-rock on steroids. Big influences: Muse, Zero 7, Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, Porcupine Tree, Stevie Wonder, Anouk, The Prodigy, Room Eleven, Damien Rice, The White Stripes, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Boards of Canada, Jamiroquai, Justin Timberlake, Ozric Tentacles, Nirvana, System of a Down, Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Dream Theater. In 2007 they released their first EP called "The Hitchhiker" which caused an appearance on 3FM's Stenders Eetvermaak.
