The is more than one band with the name Blemishes. 01 - Blemishes - European Free-Improv Quartet : Blemishes are Thomas Lumley (tenor sax, Leeds), Constantin Herzog (contrabass) and Niklas Wandt (percussion), as well as Nicola Hein (guitar) from Cologne. The result of these four musicians’ encounter — outside their regular navigation of the relatively safe waters of new Music — is always an energetic explosion of fragmentary interlacings, an apparent chaos of improvisation, which has already been recorded on a studio LP. A further record is soon to come out, including sounds registered in the legendary Cologne Loft. 02 - Blemishes - North American Indie Duo: Blemishes are two kids, one in the big city, the other in the pine barrens, who travelled, crossed the land, searched far and wide and found each other a hundred miles apart. They then decided, against logic and spatial realities, to make sweet jams and sick noises... Currently on Hiatus Lauren - Vox, Guitar, Drum Machines Brian - Vox, Bass, Guitar, Synth 03 - Blemishes - Julienne Ceron's Experimental Noise Rock, Ambient project: Formed; December 2020, Houston, TX, United States There is an album called Ambivert, a synthesis of Noise Rock, Ambient, Sound Collage.
