Blackstreet is an American R&B group founded in 1991 by record producers Chauncey Hannibal and Teddy Riley. The group released four albums through Interscope Records between 1994 and 2003 and achieved commercial recognition with the 1996 single "No Diggity", featuring Dr Dre and Queen Pen, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks. The band’s debut album "Blackstreet" produced the singles "Booti Call", "Before I Let You Go", and "Joy". Both "Booti Call" and "Before I Let You Go" reached the Top 40 in the United States, with the latter entering the Top 10. The follow-up album "Another Level", released in 1996, became their most commercially successful release and included "No Diggity", which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1998, the group received the Grammy Awards for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. "Another Level" reached number three on the Billboard album chart and was certified four-times platinum in the United States. The song "No Diggity" was later ranked number 91 on a list of the 100 greatest pop songs compiled by Rolling Stone and MTV. The lineup during this period included Mark Middleton and Eric Williams, who replaced Dave Hollister and Levi Little.
