1) These metal heroes officially started out in late 1997 under the name “Shadowland”, guitar-player Johan and Bass-player Jody already had great ideas about the sound of this band, later on, Bru (drums) and Vico (vocals) joined in order to complete this band in all its aspects of being a noise killer, one could be sure they would produce a lot of it. In january 1999 the fist demo cd was born, “Black Valley” was their new band name. The cd was named after their former band name “Shadowland” and contains 5 songs. They did more and more gigs so the noise could spread easily … January 2001 the NEW “Black Valley” demo is a fact. The title is: “Summer’s gone” and like the title suggests you won’t get any “Sunny” songs on this one, whatever you expect from autumn and winter storms, will all come true… The beginning of 2002 a new drummer has joined the band (former Kothoga member) Niels is his name and playing drums is his game. At the moment Black Valley has 3 members, Jody (bass/vocals), Niels (drums/vocals) and Johan (guitar), playing heavier and louder than ever before!!
