Black Tie Affair was a post-hardcore band from Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The band released their album Chasing The Moon in 2007. The band broke up in 2009: "After almost 4 years as a band in some way, shape or form we have finally decided to hang it up. We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported us throughout those 4 years. Whether you made it to a show, picked up a CD or just rocked out to our songs in your friends car, we love you. This was an amazing ride and while it's sad that it has to come to an end, all good things in life eventually do. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!" Unique, Fun, Dance-core & more are all terms people use to describe this Cincinnati, Ohio band. Making a mark on their local music scene & the Midwest this group of fun/energetic guys isn't planning on stopping. They have a new CD out called "Chasing The Moon" & have a self-titled EP out too. They have played with the likes of Still Remains, Poison The Well, and The Devil Wears Prada as well as other well known bands.
