about

Black Heart Fire are a Glasgow, Scotland based Rock n’ Roll band with an aim of recreating the classic rock sounds of your father’s youth whilst adding a modern twist fit for the sweaty mosh pits of today. Each member of the band brings a different viewpoint to the song-writing process which combines to give a unique, heavy but articulate sound. Members: Paul Gtr/Vox Jimi Gtr Gibb Bass Grant Drums A wide range of individual influences ensure the band are hard to pin to any particular genre or fad, though the band members share a common musical interest; classic rock by arena legends such as AC/DC, Aerosmith, Guns n’ Roses, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead and many more. Exploding onto the scene in February 2009, the band displayed a collection of guitar driven assaults wrapped in self-reflection with a gleam of glam-punk polish. In March, Black Heart Fire played to a packed Maggie Mays and received a positive review from www.vivelamusic.com (this review is available to view on our myspace blog). The band went on to support Kerrang-favourites In Case of Fire in May as well as Hardcore Superstar in early 2010 both at the legendary venue King Tuts. The band continue writing and performing their signature style of "Classic Rock for the here-and-now" on stages across the country. They are honoured to have been selected to appear on the "A Glasgow Kiss" compilation CD featuring the cream of unsigned Glasgow rock released 22nd March 2010.
