1-Black Axe was a NWOBHM band formed in 1977. They have released single "Highway rider" in 1980. In 1981 they changed name to Wolf. 2-Black Axe is a three piece band from Vermont who formed in the winter of 2016. Black Axe play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, and crust within their sound. Since forming in 2016, Black Axe have released a self-titled, five track demo in August of 2019.
