"Blaasorkest Geldrop" is a Dutch music band, consisting of 20 experienced amateur musicians, living in the region of Eindhoven in the south-eastern part of The Netherlands. The music they perform varies from Chech folk music (Böhmen and Mähren Region) upto evergreens and popular songs played in Bigband sound. In 2004 they released their first CD with the title "Wahre Freundschaft" (Real Friendship)followed in 2007 by their second album "Jubiläumsparade" (Jubilee parade). The band was founded in 1966 and is since the beginning conducted by Jef Bakermans.
