Formed in 2003, Birth plays in the old-school vein of the sub-genre, drawing main influence from the likes of Regurgitate, Dead Infection and Last Days Of Humanity - and while also baring stylistic similarities to crust / hardcore punk, as per the early days of goregrind. Lyrically, the style is within the blood-drenched, bizarre and overly ridiculous themes found in most '70s and 80's obscure b-movie gore. However, unlike most trends in the current goregrind scene, Birth adamantly opposes and takes a stand against any and all forms of misogyny, female degradation, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and racism.
