Bird Radio is a solo music act with a unique and diverse approach to new British folk music. The musician Mikey Kirkpatrick performs original compositions using vocals, loops, effects, flutes, bones, homemade instruments and a red kick drum suitcase. Influences range from traditional folk tales to contemporary electronic music, all built on the soil from the rolling agricultural landscapes of his Herefordshire hometown.
