We all know white and furry polar bears. But what is a bipolar bear? According to the Uncyclopedia: “…also known as north-south bears or nanuq-depressive bears in the Inuit language, (they) are a bear species native to both the Arctic and Antarctic. Bipolar bears migrate between the north and south poles so that they remain in winter conditions year-round. They likewise alternate between “high” states of mania (in the north) and “low” states of depression (in the south).” The band, however, claims that they came up with the name by themselves. “Seriously, we coined the term way before we found the article. It’s absolutely true though, we agree with it and take it proudly into account as an official explanation of what such a bear might represent.” Both co-founders, who were born, live and create in Poland, Szymon Danis and Kuba Mitoraj, claim to have been subconsciously looking for each other for years. “We’ve been in countless bands over the years. They were studio projects, live bands, dead bands, undead bands, cool bands and last but not least, also sh*tty bands. And we’ve been waiting for the opportunity to screw around with sound, to such an extent, like, forever.”, which of course proves to be true, as we listen to the songs and get kind of confused. The musical roots of both of the Bears explain a lot about their twisted musical ways. Szymon, a.k.a.
